Empowering every child
to live a happy life.

About us

Beyond finding the right answer —
the power to build a happy life.

The goal of education isn't a test score or getting into a good school. It is helping each person gain the ability to envision a happy life of their own — and make it real. That is what we believe.

In an age when AI can hand us the right answer, what matters most is what only that child has — what they love and what they're good at. manatell draws out every child's strengths and curiosity, nurturing the power to shape a future that is truly their own.

What we value

  • Thinking, not answers.

Our AI never hands out the answer. It offers hints so children can notice and fix things on their own.

  • Strengths first.

Instead of dwelling on what went wrong, we start from what a child did well — and build confidence from there.

  • No extra load at home.

We don't add new assignments. We support the homework kids already have, easing the daily push-and-pull between parents and children.

Founder message

What is education for? manatell began with that question.

Japan's Basic Act on Education states that the aim of education is "the full development of character." The goal is not to produce correct answers quickly, but to build a foundation that lets each person live a healthy life, true to themselves. In an age when AI can offer so many answers, we believe that foundation matters more than ever.

That is why, in the age of AI, we want every child to discover what they love and what they're good at, and to move forward by thinking for themselves. manatell nurtures that ability, starting with the homework children do every day.

A homework companion for elementary school kids

Nothing new on their to-do list.

Just the homework your child already has — done together with an AI coach.

manatell doesn't hand out more work. Our AI coach sits alongside your child and helps them finish the homework their school has already assigned — on their own, all the way to the end. The homework stays on paper; kids just snap a photo of their notebook to get started.

Kids want to get started on their own, without being told — easing the load on parents and the reluctance of children, little by little.

  • Just snap the school homework
